The Nomntu Projects supports a family of mother, daughter and granddaughter who live in a shack with no water or electricity.
Water has to be carried from a public tap 300 yards away. The Nomntu Project pays education fees for the two girls. Mihlali has gained what would be GCSE O level in the UK and is further studying part- time whilst searching for employment. Leomi is 8 and has come top of her class at school. The aim is to enable – through education and employment – to move this family out of the shack they live in, to better and safer accommodation.
